Smaug, the dragon from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," was ultimately killed by Bard the Bowman using a black arrow. After Smaug's death, the people of Lake-town and the dwarves were able to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and its treasure. Smaug's demise allowed for the resolution of the conflict over the treasure and the restoration of peace in the region. **

There is no specific mention in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" of Smaug pooping in Erebor. However, it can be assumed that as a living creature, Smaug would have had bodily functions like any other creature. The book does describe Smaug as being a creature of great size and power, so it is likely that he would have had some form of waste disposal. However, the book does not go into detail about this aspect of Smaug's existence. **

No, Smaug could not have become more powerful than Sauron. Sauron was a Maia, a powerful and immortal being, while Smaug was a dragon. Sauron's power was vast and he had the ability to manipulate and control others, as well as create powerful artifacts like the One Ring. Smaug, while formidable in his own right, did not possess the same level of inherent power or influence as Sauron. **

Smaug knows that Thorin is called Oakenshield because it is a well-known name among the dwarves. Thorin earned the name Oakenshield after using an oak branch as a shield during a battle. As a powerful and intelligent dragon, Smaug is knowledgeable about the history and reputations of the different races, including the dwarves. Therefore, he is aware of Thorin's nickname and uses it to taunt and intimidate him during their interactions. **

I prefer series because I enjoy the longer story arcs and character development that can occur over multiple episodes or seasons. I find it more engaging to follow a story over time rather than in a single sitting. Additionally, I appreciate the variety of genres and styles that series offer, allowing me to explore different types of storytelling and themes. **

For those who have already seen The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the question might be: What did you think of the portrayal of Smaug? Did you like the addition of the character Tauriel and her romantic subplot with Kili? How did you feel about the changes made to the original story and the expansion of certain scenes? **

Baroque music can be seen as both serious music and entertainment music. On one hand, it was often composed for religious or ceremonial purposes, and its intricate compositions and use of counterpoint demonstrate a high level of musical sophistication. On the other hand, Baroque music was also performed in social settings and was meant to entertain and delight audiences. Its lively rhythms and expressive melodies were often used for dancing and other forms of entertainment. Therefore, Baroque music can be appreciated for its serious artistic qualities as well as its ability to provide enjoyment and entertainment. **
